Sanctuary of Our Lady of Miracles

The sanctuary dedicated to the Madonna, **Basilica Santuario Madonna dei Miracoli**, built after 1510 on the site of her apparition in Motta di Livenza. It is a place of numerous pilgrimages, and the church, although simple and modest, impresses you with the great devotion of the believers who visit it often. The basilica survived a flood in 1966. The water reached a height of 4 meters, there is a notch on the facade of the basilica that marks the level. After more than 500 years from the day of the apparition of the Holy Mother of God, this place is a permanent place of pilgrimage for believers who stop to pray, ask for divine help, and give thanks for the received "gifts" (numerous photos of testimonies can be seen in the corridor of the basilica.)
